This is a series of commercials where KFC is trying to promote their summer menu.
After the clip was posted on youtube, it received a very negative response from the American viewers labeling the commercial as being "racist" as they believe it encourages the sterotype that black people like to eat lots of fried chicken (often portrayed by comedians such as Dave Chappelle).
The question is whether or not this was intentionally racist and does the ad really demean the African race in any way?
My opinion is that the ad was not intentionally racist but understandably plays on a stereotype that some people are sensitive about. There are similar ads that KFC have shown that go by a similar theme (two white people who can't stop talking and later quiten down to eat the KFC). Nevertheless you can always draw something out of nothing which a lot of people love to do. I think that people have a right to be a little offended but not angry enough for the ad to be taken off air. The negative publicity caused by this incident has probably increased the sales!
